This picture shows a big hole in the inner fender. Any suggestions how one could reasonably repair this? Thanks Tom

Your part number is 438-21629-01-00. Go to ebay and take a look at an intacted one. The original part cost is about $ 30 to $ 50 to your door for a used part. But many bikes have a very similar part that could "donate" a section of pre- molded plastic that would make your repair easier. Try a local yard, I'll bet you won't pay more than $5 for one. This is not a part that gets damaged too often so they should be easy to find. Hope this helps.
