rear brake switch linkage was created by wayno

my dt400c didn't come with a rear brake switch but the linkage bar was still there but twisted, tried to reshape but is binding on the swing arm when operated or is holding the switch on, is there a drawing of the shape anywhere so I can try and copy it? ebay only seems to have a used one in the states.

think I got that sorted but now I found that the rear brake levers not returning so either I need to put another turn on the spring or need a new one, is there any technique to doing this?

Sorted now, turns out what I think is a dust seal between the frame and the rear brake spindle (wasn't good anyway) had bunched up and was jamming things up,
