Wiring photo? was created by otts
Hello all anyone know what the 2 red wires in the photo are for? There are 4 pigtails coming out of harness the battery and ???
John When i got the bike the 2 red wires were connected with a piece of wire and black tape completing that circuit. Bike had no key and ignition was half ass drilled out and ruined. I put in a ebay ignition and bike runs and drives. Headlight, horn kill switch do not work.

This photo is from partzilla.com 74 Dt125a, but is the same for all I think. #30 is a fuse holder and is what you need. I would recommend going there and getting the one for your model.

Looks like stock connectors. What market does this originate from? (Euro, Jap, Oz, USA, etc.) I'm wondering if there was some sort of noise suppressor in-line to comply with local laws.
Easiest thing, to be sure, is map out where those wires go with a multimeter and then compare to the circuit diagram.

If you want more detail, try a search, this question has come up many times... fuse holder plugs in there and the third red goes to battery.
