1974 TY80 Value was created by Bbd83

Just out of curiosity, what would you say this bike is worth on the eBay market? I know it's fairly rare and seems to be all original. Has been for sale for quite a while locally and no-one is biting. Was thinking of picking it up for way less than it's worth and re-selling.

Looks to be quite clean. Problem is that it isn't as well known as the traditional Mini Enduro, and 80cc is not highly sought after. What is the asking price?

Kaplan cycles apparently sold one for like 2800 online so I was like hmmm maybe I'm missing out here.

According to NADA the value could be as high as $7200+, and their lowest listed value for "fair" condition is over $1000.
I'd say you have a great deal there, the picture certainly appears to be in at least good or very good condition.

In some parts of the country, adults are using those for trials events... very popular from what I was told...

Not sure what the bikes sell for... smaller bikes are generally not as valuable but if it's a popular model for something like those trials events someone told me about it might be worth a good price to the right buyer.

here in Texas they sell from 600 to 1200 running and ready to ride, 800 average, there seems to be a never ending supply, usually a couple kids riding them at local trials events

Re-selling?
A bike that small can't take up much space, and it looks like fun.
I'm just saying.
