Hey thanks swoop!
going from my manual CT2 specs are
35/11 3.181
30/15 2.000
26/19 1.368
23/23 1.000
20/25 0.800

do you have the ratios for the 125fa too? ( can i confirm that is defiantly a FA? going from what you have supplied then the FA should most certainly be closer ratio than the AG and even my CT? if thats the case i may as well just use the whole engine and swap over the 175 top end. saves switching transmissions ? down side i loose the CDI ignition from the AG bottom end.

Engine mounts are different between the AG and the FA.

It might only be the lower rear mount so fabbing that might be easy? I've never checked.

Marcus . The CT3 ratios that are in your manual correspond to the ratios in my
Clymer manual . Not sure what manual you are using , but suspect it was printed for US
market bikes . The figures I gave for the CT were out of Factory Service Sheets for our market .
I mentioned that the DT 125 ratios were different between the two markets . It appears the
same applies to the CT3 . Personally , I'm quite surprised , as I'd have expected the internals
would have been identical .

I've added the corrected Oceania specs to the Tech Library. Note I need to work on the categorical section divisions, but the article is there.

IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Thanks swoop I will be sure to update my manual.
This is what I have. I buy all my manuals from E-classic bike.Com as he is local.

Mr. Drake, if you get that 125FA it would be great if you could post up the actual tooth counts...

There's so many errors in Yamaha "spec sheets" from that timeframe it would be great to be able to confirm the specs.
