Does anyone know if the ag175 oil pump works for a dt175 of similar year

Hello dtStu.
Compair the part numbers. You can get exploded views and part numbers at Rockey mountain in the USA and over here i use CMSNL.com. Piece of cake .
Also if you look on the black task bar at the top of the headers the 5th heading says Tech Library.
You can download the required manual F.O.C right there.
I have used this method loads of times .
Takes the guess work out of it.

Unfortunately, the parts places usually only list US models and we didn't get the AG...
There are a lot of parts the AG175 has that might be nice... like ignitions, racks, and the larger fuel tanks... I just can't find any info.
On a positive note, last time I checked the 76 DT175 pump was still available brand new from Yamaha and fits the 1990's RT180 we got here in the US... which is a stripped down "dirt only" model that was sold as a street legal DT in other parts of the world. So using Shyted's cross reference trick it might be easy to find a pump off a later 175 that is the same.

Thanks guys i only ask as my dt didnt have one when i got it and ive got 2 ag175 pumps that are good just hanging around and didnt want to buy one if i didnt have to. Yeah i might have to go up the yamy shop and see if they can cross reference part numers ive been searching for a few hours now and cant find the ag175 pump number.
