CT1 - 1975 parts list, service manual.... was created by Gerryz
Hi everybody! My CT1 from 1975 just arrived and now work should start in short time. There are a lot of parts needed to change the bike into a daily driver. A great help will be a parts list and a service manual. Found no PDF here in download area. Any idea where to get the PDF-files? Every information about sources will be welcome. Next step will be to order the parts. Are there good known sources in Europe/Germany/UK? Don´t no time and costs from US-dealers (I found partzilla).
I will be glad receiving help.
Greetings from Germany

Try CMSNL. The NL stands for Netherlands, so the postage costs won't be too bad. If they do have parts that you need, try and put together one large order to keep postage costs to a minimum (they have a minimum postage charge of 12 Euros or thereabouts and you don't want to get hit by that each time you order a part).
Yambits and Wemoto in the UK might have some reproduction parts.
I have used German ebay user ids der-muede, die-moped-Metzger and kultmoppeds and I think that there is also a German company called Saxmoto.
A lot of the parts that you need, including the speedo, will have been used on other Yamahas of the same period, so use as wide a search description as possible.
If you click on a part on Partzilla and CMSNL, it will show which other models used that part.

I've never seen a manual for a 1975 "CT1"... if I remember correctly you have a similar bike to a 1974-75 US DT175 with the longer seat and lower front fender than we got here.
If your VIN starts with "CT1" check the UK VIN information in the Tech Library... might be helpful.
Anyway, for manuals and parts you'll probably have to refer to the US 1974-75 DT175 info knowing that your bike might have some differences... seat and front fender for sure.

Send us a photo if easy to do just to eyball the motor shape left & right side just to be sure to be sure!!. CT1 reffers to 1970 but number carry right through but is confusing still calling it CT1. That shape 175 finished in 1973. But maybe i'm about to learn something. Talking NZ models that i'm familiar with mainly. "70 & "71=CT1 "72=CT2, "73=CT3 & main difference is CT2 & 3 is reed valve inlet. Anyway--carry on & have fun.

It‘s a 1975 DT175 CT1 (Model Code 458). VINs CT1-310101 to 400000.
MarkT you are right: longer seat, lower front fender.
