Fuel tap 'O' ring DT400 was created by NickM

Anybody know where I can get an 'O' ring for my DT400 fuel tap? I need the O ring that fits around the tap lever not the filter bowl. See photo.
I've tried the usual Yambits and CMSNL. P/N 2142451300

Or, the exact size of the O ring so that I can source one.

Thanks in advance.

Speed and Sport has 54 of them on hand. Postage probably more than the part. Hopefully someone over there might be able to help. Depends on how bad it is leaking I suppose.

Thanks for the pointer but you're right, postage is a killer. $12.80 plus postage to the UK is pushing it a bit.

That's very good of you DEET. I really appreciate your offer but I notice that you're in the USA and it seems odd to have to post half way across the world when I'm sure there would be thousands of these in the UK. Just a matter of correct size and material. Would you be able to measure with a vernier? ID, OD and thickness would be great.

Cheers, Nick.

I've had the 'o' ring in place for a week and the tap still operates fine without leaks. Cost £4 for two with post.

The points to note are the size of course but also the material and hardness (70 Shore in this case) Too soft and the material is less suited to moving or 'dynamic sealing'.
