Rear shock oil weight recommendations

What weight rear shock oil would you recommend for light off road use please.

what shocks on what bike ? If you are talking about the Thermal Flow shocks on your 175, I would start with 10wt. 175cc per shock if they are completely emptied. Use shock or fork oil only. No trans fluid,brake fluid, or snake oil. Suggest you remove them from the bike ,remove the spring, and remove the large nut. see the tech section ,How to rebuild Thermal Flow Shocks. Good Luck ,easy to do.
