Lowering a bike was created by 77biker

Hey there, I would very much appreciate a little help with a new project on my 1977 Yamaha Dt250. I need to lower the overall height of my bike. Is that even possible?
Also, because of title restrictions here in Oregon not allowing me to get it on the road, I have decided to do an EV conversion limiting the speed to just 30 mph max.

Does anyone have some experience with the 2 projects?

Given your two issues, maybe sell the 250 and buy a 125 or 175?

Sounds like an interesting project. Keep us up to date when possible please.
To lower the front you could fit a 19 or 18 inch wheel then slide the forks up through the triples as far as safe without them bottoming on the dust caps or wheel hitting the guard or exhaust--more guard i think.
Could do internal fork mods to limit upward movement then shorten the spring==all sorts of tricks.
Short shocks on the rear & a low profile tyre.
Thin seat. Running out of ideas. Good luck with what you go with.
