WTB Exhaust protector for DT400 was created by rodent
Anyone have and Exhaust protector that they would part with for a DT400? My bike was parked out front of my Mum's and I believe it was pilfered :(
I really can't believe that all 3 screws fell out at the same time.
cheers
Jim

My guess is the two posts are talking about different "exhaust protectors". The original post doesn't state what year model.

(There is a little guard on the head pipe of the monoshock DT250/DT400... DT400MX as you'd call it in the UK... that is held on with 3 screws. I'm guessing they do fall off as I've seen many missing.)

Mark - that would explain why I said mine is held on by 4 screws.
I was thinking of the chrome grille like guard that is on the lefthand side of the bike.
Doh..........

I did post in the "1977 and forward bikes" area, so one would assume it was for a '77 or newer bike, sorry for the confusion.
It is the front plate with 3 holes in it, number 24 on the picture.
cheers

If you just look at the "recent posts" in the right margin (like most probably do)... and even if you're in the post reading it... it does not tell you what category the post is in.
Always best to post the complete bike info.
