Anybody have a pearl yellow gold part (headlight, fork ear or oil tank) in the color of pearl yellow gold that I can borrow or buy for cheap? I need a part that I can leave at my local paint shop for a few weeks so they can match the color. They said they would work on it in their spare time so I'd have to leave it with them for a couple of weeks. Part does not have to be in usable condition, bent or broken is fine, as long as the paint is not badly faded

About where are you located? I have the ears which are that color but I think were painted aftermarket. Best if you get original for matching. We can talk if you strike out here. I think there is a pearl yellow headlight bucket on ebay. Might be enough to match from if you can't get a loaner from someone else.

Hey Adguy I'm in Florida. I'll have to check out the ebay headlight. Was hoping to find a loaner or a damaged part for cheap as I hate to spend a lot of money on something just to match the color. All my parts are in good shape just the wrong color.

I spoke to my paint supplier today. They can color match it here and provide the formula to your people. Picking up a CT3 today with that color

I'm also looking for a formula, color code, or name for a specific paint company that matches Pearl Yellow Gold. I have my original 1972 DT2 at the painter but they can't find a paint supplier who knows how to match these vintage Yamaha colors.
