Just a thought on kicking it. I would not kick it repeatedly like you are doing. As you say, it wears a guy out. I'd catch the kickstarter at the top of a stroke and then push it through very firmly. But you can damage the kcikstarter by slamming away repeatedly at it like that. And if it's not timed really well, a 360 might kick back on you, and you don't want that.
So pause with the kickstarter engaged at the top of the stroke, and then thrust it through hard and firm.

We have action--yay, Man you're fitter than me kicking in the first video & it was a bit inconclusive but looking flooded up with a misfire from electrics as well. I guess its a hard habit to stop doing but flicking the throttle wildly does nothing sorry as in that video, just hold it full open when it fired & gave a flooded up sound--but yes a misfire too all in a short video. Then "MarkT said" close the gap--"that fixed it" so far as the miss & hit electrical misfire then settled into just flooded needing a good--bring the revs up slowly--run. Mag points might be a bit wide too, like past 14--15. Does it kick back on kickstart as 250's aren't bad for that. Running the headlight on those models can show up wide points gap too with misfiring, plus wide plug only makes it worse. Dirty points too. Actually rethinking my meaning, if it fires up flooded on full throttle, when its definitely caught on the roll the throttle back to about 1/3 throttle & continue to bring it up slowly.

Tough also finding a cap that isn’t also equipped with a resister. I see NGK has non resistor caps in their chart but hell if I can figure out which part number goes to the non resistor cap most like the 8501 (LBO5F). I finally gave up and bought that one. Would love a number if anyone has a suggestion.

nice work on getting somewhere with this DT3.

LZFH is the NGK number for a 90 degree with threaded stud...

If the spark plugs you are using don't have a removable terminal then there are dozens of rubber caps that work well...  R90 is one part number I came across...  most bike shops should have something for less than $5

Is it the cap that's the resistor? I have a threaded cap which needs to be removed to snap into the wire I have.
