RT3 float bowl was created by Yamrt3

I noticed protruding from the bottom of the float bowl on my RT3 carb, a small brass spigot that looks like a hose must go on there. there was nothing attached to it when I took the carb apart. What, if anything, should go on there and what's its purpose? Thanks.

A picture would be worth a thousand words, here. I think perhaps what you are talking about is an overflow vent, but I cannot be sure because I don't have a picture to work with. There would be a clear vinyl tube attached to it and routed over the transmission and down to drip onto the ground.
