LT2 / at2 similarity was created by gw1170

Hi guys, how different are the LT2 and AT2 ? are the frames the same ?, can the engines be swapped about, ie 125 top end on the 100 etc ? cheers

LT2 is a smaller frame and different engine. The AT2 and CT2 share frames and most the engine.

Complete motor 'might' bolt in but i've not done it. Same type of mounts for all those.

Huh wonder if it would. From my brief ownership of a LT2/CT2 at the same time, every aspect of the LT2 felt smaller but that could have just been my perception amplified by the frame being smaller.

I'm also pretty sure a complete engine swap would be possible...  not just the top end though.

I actually did that when I was a lot younger, my 100cc holed a piston and somebody at my high school made me a deal on what was supposed to be a 125cc but it turned out to be a 175cc and it dropped right in!

That must have been a blast because I remember the LT2 being notably lighter than the CT2. Or maybe it just felt that way because it's smaller.
