Hi ,I am trying to buy a front brake cable for my ex USA 1973 DT3 in the Uk.  The part number listed is 2142634100  which I cannot get .  I can however get a cable for a 1975-76  DT250  part number IMI 2634100. .I wish to know if the later model cable will fit my machine.. Please advise..

I don't believe so.

KDI in the US do a repro - see link further down the page, on the right. KDI are well regarded here and hopefully postage to the UK won't be too bad.

Edit - also have a look at their other stock, just in case they have something else that you need now, or would like to keep as a spare.
