Dt3 fuel filter was created by principal282
Apparently my carb has a critical piece missing..the plate the spring sits on. Gonna blame my son. Otherwise the guy who took care of it did a real nice job.
Here's my newbie question of the day.
fuel filter..I was gonna put an inline filter in but it takes up so much room. Was the original design a screen in the petcock bowl? Almost impossible to get a fuel filter in place without kinking the hose a bit. Thoughts?
also a new plate is on the way. 3 bucks. 12 for shipping.

I use a 90 degree filter. Available for pennies on EBay. I buy 5 at a time.

I buy these little fuel filters from the local power equipment store and have been able to fit them on all my bikes so far. Sorry I have no manufacturer or part number, but I would think all power equipment stores would have similar.

Thanks Schu I ordered one like this. Lot smaller. The big ones I got earlier will be great on my lawn mower
