I'm looking for a decent tank for my CT2. I believe that the tanks on all the LT, CT and DT model 2s and 3s are the same tanks with different paint and sticker schemes? At some point I'll strip it, fix it up and paint it, just not right away, so I don't mind a little wear. Rust is the demon I am trying to avoid.
My bike came with a tank that had a perfect exterior but the inside was so rotted that my thumb went right through it. There are a few listed on Ebay but it seems like a crap shoot as to what you get (interior rust).

And I believe the AT2 and AT3 tanks are the same as all the others I mentioned?

AT2, AT3, CT2, and CT3 tanks are the same except for paint.

LT2,3 and DT2,3 tanks will not fit your bike.

Ah yes, ATs and CTs are 7 liter tanks, LTs are 6 liter tanks and DTs are 9.46 liter tanks.
So I'm looking for all red with white logo (CT2), all orange with white logo (AT2), orange with black stripe (CT3) or blue with black stripe (AT3).

I got one. Some rust in the tank but it came from a running bike. Needs cleaning but usable as is. Couple slight dents. Very restorable or usable until restoration.
