Time to start the Restoration of the Seat-

The original Cover and Seat Foam are toast...

The underside of the Pan is in great Shape-  The Top side looks bad but is just the usual surface Rust that is common-    Hit with some penetrating spray to get things moving-

And of coarse the bolts that attached the seat hardware were all rust welded in and even with penetrating oil and heat they would not budge and most just broke off in hole...

So will just drill them out and rethread the attached nuts on pan and add new bolts to reattach hardware

Will get after everything with the wire wheel then will be applying a two good coats of the Duplicolor Rust Barrier Paint then will finish up with two good coats of the Eastwood Chassis Paint I use for my Frame Paint on the entire pan-  New Foam and Cover are Ready to be put on as soon as fully cured.
