I installed 3.50x18 Shinko 241's front and rear. looked ok and worked fine. I was working on the bike for a guy. Only thing i could fine at the time. Front had plenty of room. In fact the Shinko 3.50x18 wasn't much larger then the stock 3.25. Seems like the 3.50x19 is much larger then a stock 3.25x19 on the larger bikes.

Yep, plenty of room on front for a larger tire. I initially thought 3.00 might look funny, but it's only slightly smaller than 3.25, and I like it. IMHO 2.75 X 19 might not be bad for that DT-1.
