Is the exhaust pipe the same on a 1970 DT1 and RT1 ?

I really want to put a expansion chamber on my bike.. does the DT1 and RT1 share the same pipe? Thanks, Bob

Thanks man .... I got the bike from the owner of a dealership in WA who sent a gaggle of bikes to Vegas had to give him his reserve price but didn’t care it was just such a sweet bike with 211 miles on the clock

Nice looker & love the RT1's. Chamber won't achieve a lot except for noise without a few other tricks. Get an RT1MX top end then she'll 'realy' perform with a pipe. RT2 & 3 top end swaps t straight over, therefore an RT2MX top end as well. Leave it alone i say, she looks so original & nice just as it is.

I hesitate to query anything with a knowledgeable chap like yourself, but are you sure about this? I think that 1974 saw the first of the revised models. Happy to be corrected though!

Yep. was hoping someone else would say, so i didn't have to be the guilty party haha. Yes totally revised bike one end to other including motor. Bore & strokes's the same lol.
