1970 Front Hub Bearing Replacement was created by Phils2888

I am trying to replace both front wheel bearings in the front hub. Not having any luck pressing them out. Do they just press through the hub or is there some sort of boss In the middle preventing them from passing through? Any special procedure? I am leery of applying more pressure for fear of breaking the hub.
Thanks.

Any manual in the tech library will show you how. Requires a special tool or a long punch.

And yes, good call. They do not press through, you would have destroyed the hub if you continued that attempt.
