I am the proud owner of a H plate RT1 was created by Pete-RT1
Last week I asked whether anyone in the UK had registered a US bike recently and low and behold my registration arrived today
Quick phone call to arrange insurance, printed off a registration plate and a bit of cardboard and sticky tape and off we go.
Real registration plate should be here in a few days.
Was great to finally take the bike out on the road.
Haven't put your red lenses on yet Alan as I need to order longer screws.

Lovely bike, is it a right hand drive? :-)
I had a similar feeling when I got my plates for my DT360 after importing it to the republic of California from Colorado, enjoy!

It's a great feeling when it arrives.
£86 to insure the RT for £4,500 which I thought was very reasonable considering how I ride

No better feeling than complete registration when things are dodgy! I've been in that situation countless times, very cool to see you with that big 'ol smile on your RT1!
Allrighty Then

Thanks guys, it certainly does put a smile on my face.
Mauser, I've insured it with Hagerty on a classic policy, it looks ok and they have good reviews so fingers crossed.
Need to iron out a few running niggles, look out for some questions soon.

Great stuff.
Great to see bikes like that out and about instead of being tucked away.
I joined VJMC. They produce a magazine called Tansha. It's pretty good and packed with info.In there there's a company called RH classic insurance.
It's through Hiscox . I'm fed up with Carrol Nash.
Fingers crossed ,my HT1 plate will arrive then.
Nice one.
