I brought my bone stock DT400 out of hibernation, I have the Sleeper pipe on this bike and it runs pretty good! Thanks Dave Meis for building a great pipe, now it needs a little mild port work to seal the deal.
and a ride video of the MX360 pipe fitted Super DT400. more testing needed but it seems to rev very freely.

That pipe makes a big difference!!!! I'll bet you could hit 80 or 90 mph!
(BTW....Where's your helmet?)

I know, my Helmet.................. anyway the super could likely hit 90+ and the stock one has hit 85 before but it was at the limit.
I did open up the super once and it easily managed 85 and it was not pushing it that much, plenty of revs left and very good reserve.
I am planning on having Rich work his magic on the Super DT400 engine with the 38mm venturi deviders and possibly the intelejet plus getting the Webco head done and getting the case reed porting he does. it ought to be a real fire breather then!

Well, I confirmed it, the Super DT400 will do 90, On the Go Pro video it hit 90 mph in a fairly short time, short shifting is key here. I ran 87 mph later using a different camera where the instruments can be read, i long shifted and found the thing will rev out to 9500 rpm!
with the Hooker pipe installed and a stock MX400B pipe on it 8000 rpm was it and no more.
swapping pipes continues to surprise me. the MX360 pipe is certainly a mid range and top end pipe for sure and it has very good bottom end power on this particular engine.
This video here is where I hit 87 mph or about at 1:10 or 1:11.
The 90 mph run starts at 3:50 in this video.

I completed the exhaust install and it turned out decent enough.
I welded a threaded bung and it bolts up like a stock pipe.

The part here came quick from the UK. It is a very high quality part made from Stainless Steel, Especially for the price.
Fits like a glove.
