Hello all,

I bought an old CT200 that was sitting outside for a good chunk of the last century on someone’s farm .

I pulled the carb apart, and the slide was so stuck in i destroyed it getting it out (and it’s not even all the way out).

I have two questions, does anybody on here deal ct200 parts?

what would be a suitable Chinese replacement for a carb?

thanks fellas .

I can't think what a ct200 is & I worked in a Honda shop in "64. Ct sounds farm bike like ct90? Style. Mind you I'm half a world away so different models for different parts of the world. Personally I'd just look at a cheaply Chinese carb to get it up & running. Put one on my Honda 185 with no issues. Maybe you mean C200? Which now I think about it was the pushrods 90cc road model. Same answer though. Check out Aliexpress or similar sites. Look forward to hearing it's running again.

Ok I'm waking up lol. I googled "64 instead of "66 yep the pushrods forerunner of the CT90. Same answer for a carb though in my opinion. I know Chinese carbs are frowned on, but let's get it running.

Sounds like a plan! I ordered one, I foresee it being a tad fickle to put on, as the flange bolts are spaced 48mm on the Chinese one, and 40mm on the original connector flange.

I’ll keep you posted ! If anyone happens to come across this post and has a carb or slide though, let me know. OEM is king

I did some research and allegedly a "PZ17" carb has a 42mm bolt spacing and fits the earlier Honda?

The 1991 to 1994 CT70 supposedly had 42mm spacing as well.

I just saw your answer but just looking on cmsl is it actually a downdraught carb--which might complicate things.

Here's a good view if the ebay number works. I can't direct link ebay.eBay item number:224902922262
Sorry keep editing--i see CT90 1966 which looks like it went overhead cam, had a manifold with a normal carb.
Have i got my wires crossed & yours is OHC not pushrod. I guess it must be as i see MarkT doing great research for a carb.

My main concern now is that the float would be on its side with the new carb… does the float have to be perpendicular to gravity?
