Bike Lift Recommendations ? was created by 1971DT250

This is what I have. Works good for most of what I do. Sold under many brands by many vendors. Mine is from Sears (back in the day).

My 1500 pound Harbor Freight jack (no lift, I have one of those too) was low enough to lift my Harley which is way lower than my DTs and RTs. I had my 600 lb Sportster on the jack for three months and it worked flawlessly.

Morning Simon.

I bought this and it winds down to a few inches tall.

Put some sturdy, perfectly flat blocks under the stand, or would that still be too low?

I guess the alternative is one of those expensive ramps that you roll the bike onto.

I bought the Tusk Adjustable Lift Stand off Amazon. It adjusts low enough to get under my DT2. It's not a scissors type though.
