DT125 Bore and Stroke was created by kawayamysuzyda
Would anyone happen to know if the European model DT125 1F9 has the same bore and stroke as a AT2 ..I can find the info on the AT2 but not the DT125

There's a 1976 1F9 parts manual in the Tech Library I think...
Standard piston is 56mm and crank part number matches US DT175 559 prefix so I'd say yes.

Thanks Mark ..I did have a look in the library before I posted and could not find anything ..I have a service manual but it does,nt list what the stroke is either but I think it is highly unlikely it will be different but I want to find out for sure before I pay to have the barrel honed

You're welcome... and you've confused me. What size the bore and stroke happens to be should have nothing to do with "honing".
Cylinder bores are honed to a precision fit with the exact piston you're going to use... it's not done from a spec in a book.

So far as I remember 125's were always 56x50 from the very first one. Never changed until they started playing with long stroke on modern YZ's. As usual correct me if I'm telling porkies.

It is simply I do not want to pay to have the barrel honed if I cannot use it on the engine Mark

That is what I am hoping was the case t5hat they were all the same bore and stroke but I find it surprising that I cannot seem to find any literature that confirms this was the case for the later European models ..it must exist somewhere
