L5T tire inquirey was created by Noviastar

Working on my L5t restoration project.  I'm thinking about where the rubber meets the road.  This case being more "road"  than dirt.

SO..  Looking at 2.75-17 and 3.00-17 street tires.  Mostly found sets of Duro and Continental tires in both sizes.  Anyone have history with those 2 or have other recomendations?

Michelin makes some Moped tires in 2.75-17 but seems not 3.0-17.

looks like the Duro is a TT and the other is not.

Thanks for reading and any imput

Side note. Is there a range of tire sizes that would fit on the bike? 2.5 or 3.(25-75) by 17?

Just recently I replaced the tires on my '71 CT1. I did some searching for various tires, eventually decided on Shinko SR 241s, and I'm really happy with them.

Like you, most of my riding these days will probably be on the street, and they do seem to handle well on the street. I did consider getting street tires for it, but decided I would rather keep the look original, and these do look very similar to the original tires.

For 17 inch rims they have three different sizes, 2.50, 2.75 and 3.00. The pictures are of the 3.00 x 18 tire on my front rim.
