Hi all I just got a replacement carb for my ag175. Only thing I need to know is does the "mixing cap" where the throttle cable enters the carb need to be sealed? From an air leak ect as the thread size is different

No, doesn't matter. Only from dirt getting in point of view & possible slide sticking. Or cable getting out & sitting on top causing the slide to lift--possibility.
