New CT2 “survivor” was created by adguy2112
I hear the term “Survivor” kicked around here. Honestly, not sure if this applies but finally took possession of this 72 CT2. Drove six hours and met my sister in Solvang, Ca. She bought it on my behalf from the family of the decedent. Not sure why he had the mandarin orange tank on it as the original red tank is with It and in great shape. Other than that this bike is bone stock original. Everything it would have come with is all there. Needs a good scrub and a bunch of rubber grommets plus new tires. Titled as well. Definitely pleased with this find. We’ll see what it needs to run tomorrow.

Just a quick add: the gearshift isn’t correct and the exhaust badge is a 125 badge so clearly isn’t original. So maybe not a true survivor if that term is even applicable to a CT2.

Beautiful bike. I’ll be referring back to this image many times as I start the work. Definitely inspiring! Thanks for sharing. Hope mine eventually measures up.
