I have split cases on ct3. Looking at parts diagram from partzilla transmission diagram. This is what I have noticed #8 needle bearing had 12 bearings, #32 needle bearing has 14 bearings. They both have the same part number. Is this a problem. Side note, I have 2 new bearings from past projects and both have 14 bearing. Thanks for the help

Parts lists suck. On early models, #8 and #32 were the same.
In mid 72 Yamaha increased the OD of the #32 clutch side needle bearing on the output shaft from 22 to 23mm.
The bearing for this update is one of the "0" part numbers in the Partzilla list. (3rd one down from top, marked 23m)
Here's the service bulletin which is in back of the Service Manual in the Tech Library.

Thanks so much Mark for info. I’m always learning something. This gives me a lot more insight on parts lists that I can pass on. Side note, I have 2 ct2, 1ct3, 2at2, 2dt 175b
1dt 175e, and Honda ct 110.
