Difference between a 1972 CT2 and 1973 CT3 was created by LuckyLuke
I am looking to buy a 1973CT3 to restore and have a lot of parts from an old 1972 CT2. How interchangeable are the parts and specs?

Most everything is the same with exception of paint colors, oil tank emblems, and 21" front wheel vs. 19" front wheel. Everything interchanges.

Pretty sure all the CT's had 18" wheels front and rear?
CT3 should have a steering lock. That might be the major difference except cosmetics? I'd guess there's not two bikes that have more spare parts in common than the CT2 and CT3.

The CT2 is a prettier bike IMO, but I like red.

Although that CT2 is a nice looking bike, I like some tank graphics, and you gotta admit this CT3 has better graphics.

Hey Ya all;
Sorry for the very late reply to this post. Good to know the parts for these bike are very interchangeble I am going to pick up the CT3 bike next Saturday. I really like the look of the CT3some with all the blonde decals and emblems. Looks like it will be a lot of fun to ride.
