DT250 switches was created by Enduro nut
Hey everyone, im currently putting the left and right switches on my 75 DT250 and unfortunately one of switches is broken as you can see in the pic. Im curious if there is a replacement part out that for those little boogers. Also are there decals available for these? My left switch is missing the HI and LO sticker.

No picture attached.
There are probably dozens of threads with different solutions and ideas but depends on what's wrong with yours.
Several places sell switch decal sets for different Yamahas. Not sure they list them for exact models but not too hard to find.

+1 on all of Mark's comments.
I'd just add that most Yamahas of that era shared the same basic switch components, so you might well pick up a cheap damaged item, but with the part you need intact. I'd like to add a little caveat, but am a little hamstrung by the lack of photos of yours!
Some folks have been 3D printing replacement switches.

You can still buy that switch new from Yamaha for under $35 or maybe search ebay... probably a bunch of reproductions out there too.
I've seen decal kits for $7-$10 for the other side... they had a couple different layouts.

I used these on my 74DT250A (DT400 same as DT250), I can supply pic's if you need to see how they look. Also if you cann't locate switch replacements for what you need, do as was suggested and buy a used set with the ones you need. I did that after much looking & no results. I have also purchased from 2 Fast Moto, (e-bay), a left side set of switches, ($24.95). They are a decent repop and I took them apart to see if I could use them as parts. No luck, they are a more robust design so don't fit. Good luck and post more pic's...

This website has both sides (left side pod OEM sw is nla of course
) aftermarket in decent quality. I've used these folks before during an RD400 restore and their switches are nice....the originals were beyond repair.
I just received an order for both sides and in my case (restoring '75 DT175) these switches are a great find with only the left side being a touch different than orig (wire bundle length is longer and there's an extra ground coming from the right switch but that's easily sorted.).
In your case these would work fine I would think.

I cant believe i didnt think to check diablo! especially since i just bought an entire 73 RT360 decal kit from them! Looks like they have the decals im looking for. As for the broken piece i will continue the search but like many have suggested i will probably just end up buying a used one that has the piece i need. Im sure someone one of these days will start making those little pieces (if not already) seeing how at least one is always broke on a newly acquired bike. Appreciate all the help guys!

DEET did an estimate a while back on having those parts reproduced would be ridiculously expensive so might not be likely.
If you buy a used switch for parts keep in mind the cost of reproduction switches and a brand new one from Yamaha... might not be worth the risk of a used one. I think there was a post here a while back where someone found PW50 slider switch parts that fit some of the switches. Might be worth your time to search.

Took me 30 seconds to find enough info to locate a switch rebuild kit that others have used with a search of this forum. Then about another minute to find it for sale at less than $12. There's really a ton a great stuff here and search works great. .
Hint: 2fastmoto has them and it is a PW50 part. I have no idea what yours looks like and others said they had to swap the brass plate. But it might be worth a look.
