Leak down Tester- Best I have ever owned! was created by GFrench
Picked one of these up and used for the first time today to do a leak down test on my 360 Black Widow bike...

This unit attaches thru the spark plug hole- allows you to simply dial up the amount of desired air pressure on the left side and lock it down (I use 6 psi) attach the right side hose to spark plug hole- start tracking down any leaks with a little dawn and water mixture. It will keep pushing the PSI until you have everything sealed up.
Found my intake had some serious leaking going on which explains why this bike was running so lean during Cali Dreamin during some of the higher pavement speeds we did.. cylinder- head and cranks seals were all tight and no leaks.
Fixed the intake and now holds air with no loss! Love this tool

Again- You only need 6 to 7 psi as that is plenty to find any leakage... anything more and you could pop out your crank seals!

Yeah, that's actually a cylinder leakage tester to test the ring (and valve on a four stroke) leakage in percentage. Used extensively on piston aircraft engines and by racers. I've had one for years. Never thought of using it for a two stroke because normally you use it at high pressure.
Great idea, as long as you keep the pressure dialed low as you said... I'll have to try it next time I have a bad leaker... sure would beat having to constantly pump it up by hand!

Exactly Mark- My old homemade one I would have to be constantly pumping the thing then trying to search for the leaks at same time...
Now it is all auto- just adjust to low PSI and set it - place the unit aside and then you have both hands to start looking everything over.
Once things are sealed up and it hits your air setting no more air being released from the unit.
