1971/1973 AT125 general questions was created by Rsalvatore514

Hello! I recently picked up this bike from a dealership and they sold it to me saying it was a 1971 AT/MX however people are telling me it’s a 1973 at3 enduro. I love this bike, it’s a lot of fun. I do have a question however regarding the ratio of oil to fuel mixture. I see it is oil injected however if one was to bypass that would the mixture be 50:1 or 32:1 and what brand would be recommended? I just ordered new tires for her and can’t wait to get it out! Thank you!

Personally, I'd need a jolly good reason for going for premix over the oil pump - like the oil pump being missing!

Looks like a '73 AT3 125 from the tank, reedblock and exhaust. VIN number on the steering neck tube would verify exactly what it is. 32:1 if you're pre mixing. Pretty much any two stroke oil will do, I go with whatever is on sale, defaulting to Yamalube if nothing is on sale, while others have preferences.

Very original at first glance minus the foot pegs.
