This is what fools me.Also how crafty the " New Breed " of business strategists work.
The box says made in Japan, which the box probably is. Inside is a French plug.I'm going to route one out in the box and picture it.
Crafty toe rags . I'm not impressed, but i don't think NGK are arsed about that.

NGK has had a manufacturing plant in France for many years.  Odd that the box says "Japan" and plugs "France" though.  If they are legitimate, that might be a violation of law regarding identifying country of origin.

The last box I bought on eBay was faded indicating that it may have sat on a shelf for a long time. The plugs are stamped "Assembled in USA from Japanese parts".

Dear David,

I am very sorry to hear about the problem you have had in relation to our spark plugs.

Some of our spark plugs are manufactured in France to exactly the same specification and high standards which you are used to. They are subject to the same quality testing as spark plugs manufactured in Japan, so this is not an issue.

Please can you give further details of the failure of these spark plugs so that we can attempt to assist you?

Kind regards,

Henry Shackleton
Product/Technical Coordinator

I see I am not the only one who ignores these warnings at the end of a business e-mail. But I typically back space them out of existence.
