SORRY THE VIEW DOC DOESN'T SEEM TO BE WORKING IN THE CURRENT CONFIG. I have disabled the view approach, but the download seems to be working fine?

Thanks.

i tried cleaning those points with electronic spray cleaner ,used a dollar bill to wipe them off but it sparks irediclly .I got it to spark once at the spark plug but t6hats about it it seeems shorted at the points . Points must be very hard to get right and the timing . The points wouldn't even open up so I did open them to about .013 thousands . And now my starter is working and turning the engine over. How to change points and condenser and check the timing?

If you are getting something out of the points in the way of a spark rather than nothing, you are on the right track. The best way to clean the points is with a business card or some worn out 600 wet or dry. drag the wet or dry (my choice) through once, and then drag it through again with the gritty side the other way. Maybe twice each direction at most should freshen them up. Then dry to start it.

Pull the plug cap off the lead & set the lead down between two head fins & spin it on the starter. If spark jumps to the fins then it’s looking good. But if the spark Jumps & the points spark wildly then maybe you have a condenser problem. Run out of ideas at the moment.

That bike has a timing pointer for the yoke. When lined up you can expand the cam advance and set the points provided the pointer hasn't been messed with. That will likely get you up and running.
