 I wanted to get some opinions if this is a Bassani pipe or not ? And if so can the big hole in the front of pipe be repaired fairly easy ??

My opinion is....
Yes it's a Bassani.
No that's not an easy repair.

I added a photo of a similar repair I had done on one of my JT pipes, but the hole was less than half the size of what I see on yours.
