New Dunlop Trials Universal Tires was created by JGersh

I'm curious if anyone here has purchased and installed these Dunlop Trials Universal tires available from japan.we bike.net.  They are available in a limited number of sizes both standard and metric (see photo) ? As these were one of the OEM tires offered by Yamaha it only seems natural.

Looks like it might be a good match . freight could be as much as
purchase price sgain though . I shipped a heidenau 3.25 x 19 from UK
to New Zealand , and it was a pretty expensive exercise .
Sadly getting that size tyre , options are limited .

I wish these were available stateside. Correct look, and if a modern carcass, would really be a super solution.

Someone, with a name that sounds like Schdave Schkolbo should become an importer of the tires? Would be a nice addition to the KDI lineup, right?

I've emailed with the distributor to see if any other sizes were available and he said that the sizes listed were all currently being manufactured.  Possibly we could put together a group buy to reduce the high per tire shipping charge.  I will ask the distributor if this would be possible.  I'll keep everyone apprised when I get a reply.

Maybe I'm just skeptical, but I wonder why this is the only mention of them on the internet.
Dunlop doesn't mention them.
The demand for them are extemely high... everyone is looking for them and now here is a seller that apparently is the only distributor for them.
If I were Dunlop... and I realized what a huge market exists for them... AND then decided to produce them.... why would I make them for one person in a obscure part of the world where they are NOT in demand.
There are plenty of substitutes in that part of the world. Is there a large demand for that size in that area? For what bike? And why a trials type? And would you go to England to have them made? Why not go to Shinko?
Maybe it is legit.
I guess the only way to find out is for someone to send them a pile of money and see if anything shows up.

Before I would send any money, I would ask for several actual close up photos....not just a stock website photo.

But.... that's just my opinion.

Per your suggest DEET I’ve requested photos of the actual tire, sidewall and tread... it will be interesting to see what I receive... Fingers crossed as Dunlop appears to owned by Sumitomo Tires of Japan who also who also owns the Falken tire brand.

I just bought a Dunlop D803GP trials universal for the back of my RT3 360.
i got the 120/100 size as it is wider than the usual 4.00x18.
It is tubeless but I am running a inner tube.
A great quality modern duel purpose tyre!
My matching 21 inch front tyre is on its way to me also.
I will attach better pics of the tyres shortly.

Beware.... that Dunlop D803GP is an actual trials tire and is not meant for road duty.
