Congratulations!

The Powerdynamo is safe to run without a battery. Just make sure the + battery cable does not touch ground!

Turn signals and horn may not work very well... or at all... without a battery.

I just installed turn signals on a DT400C and had to figure out the wiring without installation instructions (I have them now) My thoughts were that, being a forgetful person I needed the key switch to turn off everything rather than kill my little 1.3 AH 12V battery. The installer had used the wire from the turn signal flasher (Br/w) somehow to finally connect to the yellow wire. I took the brown wire (Switched B+) from the key switch and tied that to the yellow wire I cut into the brown at the point where 2 Br wires come together in the area of the flasher. I cut the single female connector and installed a triple like the ones used in the headlight bucket for turn signals. Into that connector I tied the hot brown to the permanent connection and in the 3 female slots left over I plugged the extra wire from the original single, the flasher B+ lead and a brown lead I made up to go into the spot where the yellow lead had been on the male side of the multiline white connector going up to the left handlebar switch. I've got almost everything working, including : Horn, Headlight (HI & LO), and turn signals. The original installer had the KILL from both the key switch and the right handlebar switch wired correctly. Everything turns off with the key now. I'm still working on the brake light. The rear brake switch leads had been disconnected from the switch tied together so the brake light was on all the time. Oh yes I wired in a fuse that the original installer must have forgotten. I used LED equivalent 1156 bulbs and a LED flasher with OEM turn signals.

Any chance of pictures? I like that you made use of LED bulbs.

I'm not a super YouTuber, but here's a couple videos regarding the work I did. I'm also not the fastest at solving problems.  #1
