Thanks for the updates... and after one more post from you, the post after that should allow you to post your own links.

P.S. That last link is asking me to sign in so there might be an issue with the pics being flagged for sharing or something? The earlier link you posted just let me view the pics.

Can see those pics through Marks live link by hitting them in the link. Blind plug you mentioned I think would refer to the little black plug just behind the broken cover. You don't know how lucky you are with that plastic cover as it's all intact & in the worst case can break the entire end off the selector drum. Without seeing the clutch basket I'd just leave it, not replace. I'd guess that's the least of your worries & I've had bad cases still operating normally. Just note it for later. Check sprocket nut is tight & check the seal behind for a reasonable fit to the sleeve/spacer.

I typically file the clutch baskets until the grooves are gone or greatly reduced. You might want to check the clutch push rod to see if its bent. Mine was obviously bent from a past chain derailment which broke the plastic cap just like yours.

Another item to note, looking at your countershaft sprocket you are in need of new sprockets and a chain or you might not get so lucky with damage only to the little plastic cover, many times when a drive chain gets thrown it will damage that plastic cover and the selector drum and if you are really unlucky it will damage the engine cases.

Absolutely, LIZEEC! New sprocket and chain are added to the parts list, as well as rear sprocket while I'm at it. I seem to love spending money on this bike XD
