Hi,
can anyone tell me if this is the correct tail lamp
assembly for a 1973 CT3 175?  All the parts diagrams show a different shaped lens.  Thoughts on wha this is?

Not correct as far as I know. Mine is round, about 3 inches across. It is the original.

Rear turn signals on yours look after market as well. Or, it could be spec for a different country than USA.

The turn signals are wrong. They are off now. Any idea what my current tail goes to?

I don’t recognize it. I have seem similar ones for sale as a unit on eBay. BTW, there is a lot of stuff for sale on eBay for ct3s. Maybe one of the pros will chime in. Mine is my first restoration, and it was pretty much complete. Belonged to a woman who evidently did no ride it much. Had 322 original miles, but was not maintained.

Taillight is an aftermarket unit . They are for sale at XS 650 specialists Mikes XS as a Lucas style unit .

I’ll check out the aftermarket units. Does anyone know if the DT assembly is the same as the CT?

Here are some CT brackets and taillight assy if you get the taillight you will need to change the bulb to a 1154
