I read on here about using black nail polish, sorry to whom made that suggestion but can't remember your name (maybe enduronut?), anyway I used it and it works pretty good.

Years ago forum member G French recommended Testors 2547 Paint Marker-Gloss Black, worked terrific on my engine cases to refresh "YAMAHA" letters.
