Blinker meter lamp was created by Oldskoole
The blinker meter light stays on. When the blinkers on, it flashes and the right side blinks real dim. My 72 DT didn’t do this. There’s got to be a couple of wires switched. Any thoughts? Also, could this make it run a little rough in the mid range. It’s like it wants to cut out but when you open it up it runs great. It does seem like there’s a little power loss when the throttle is close to wide open at 60-65mph. All help is appreciated!

It could well be a dodgy connection in the circuits. Check all of the earthing points and other connections, including inside the blinkers themselves.
These are simple fixes, but a right sod to locate!

Possibly a brown and dark brown got mixed up in the headlight bucket.
Does gauge indicator flash work and flash equally for both right and left signals?

Kind of a wild guess but my first thought is indicator bulb has accidentally been connected to light brown and dark green instead of dark brown and dark green in headlight bucket.

Just another thought - have you checked that the bulbs in the blinkers are the correct voltage and wattage?

You were spot on. They had a brown taped up and not using it. I unplugged I think a dark brown, and I took the one taped and put it in a double connector. Solved another problem the guy told me about. He said one of the brakes didn’t activate the stoplight. Now they both work, hand and foot. The blinkers on the left are still dim.
