DTI-CMX post removed? was created by SwormTours

Would like to know why my post regarding my 1970 matching number DT1-CMX was removed? I read over the rules and did not see I cannot try to sell a vintage Yamaha Enduro or MX bike on here. Anyone have any idea?

Idk...maybe list it in the classifieds under "for sale" on here instead of the forum? Good luck!

Post rarely, and I mean rarely, get removed here unless they are suspected spam.  I never saw it here.  What section did you post it in?

The issue is being reviewed. Thanks.

It was posted in the 68-71 Badge bike forum. One of the moderators is looking into it. Super strange. I was told that is was "suspicious" and that it resembled another bike in some FB groups (whatever that means) I can repost, but am waiting to hear back on what the one moderator looking into if for me finds out.

It looks like it might have been your first post?

And you probably know that places like Craigslist have many people that download photos off the Internet and use them to advertise bikes they don't have...  and then try to scam potential buyers into sending them money.  You can't be too careful these days and I'm sure the moderators were just trying to protect the members here.

Is this the unknown Facebook post you know nothing about?

I never said I "knew nothing about" my FB post. I have advertised this bike in numerous FB groups. What does that have to do with posting it here and then having it removed?? Do you NOT believe I have this freakin bike?? Would you like a photo of me posing with it to prove to you I have the bike? Do you want a video of me with the bike with a time/date stamp on it to prove I have this bike? What is the deal with this whole thing. Explain......

When someone joins the forum and their first post is to sell something, that is a red flag.
Because it is a red flag recognized by members and moderators, it gets some scrutiny. No exceptions. There is a 'report this post' button on every entry.
Since we also monitor Facebook and we are intently interested in Enduros, we would recognize the same bike  being advertised there.

Any post we deem 'suspicious' is subject to deletion without explanation. If a new member appears to be combative or toxic to the community, they will be banned without explanation.

The forum is generally pretty tolerant of  different personalities. However, there have been scammers and  folks that couldn't play nice and they were given the opportunity to find a different forum.
