The rubber boot that Mark linked is the one I bought for mine. It’s a very nice part. Your other post said that you have cleaned your carb and got it running. You should be good if you have the original carb. I ruined one trying to drill out a stuck/stripped jet…… It took me a long time to find a good replacement, but they do show up once in a while.

I seem to recall someone posting a couple years back on using an aftermarket carb, maybe one from Taiwan? I got a PWK (I think....??) for the TY250 that runs great right out of the box. I got that through the Vintage Trials guys though, and maybe they had already done the homework to get them sorted before sale.

I wouldn't obsess about the exact model carb unless you are doing a true restoration. One for a DT400B/C should work equally well. Might widen your search a bit.

Does #Pedalcrazy have a carb for you? If not, and nothing elsewhere in the US, then this is for sale in the UK. The seller does take offers and it's worth going in with, say, £50 and see what they come back with.

I don't know what their international postage costs are, but for me to send it by Royal Mail tracked would be in the region of $20.

I am in the UK I bought that carb in December but the slide had not been located on the peg and forced in,the bore was damaged and the pin forced down the bore,I would of tried saving it but he wasn't prepared to drop the price

Apart from the slide guide pin damage, i see the choke spring arm thingy isn't touching the choke lever so won't be doing its job.
It's because its fitted on the wrong side of the main bracket & should be on the upper side.
That's easily sorted though.
Not sure how to replace the slide guide pin!!.
