So every day I learn something new about the software that runs this place!

If you don't have a Photobucket or Flicker account, or don't want to get one, or just want to do this the easy way - there is an easy method of putting your photos inline (embedded) in your forum posts! And it is built right in!

1. Put your curser where you want the photo.
2. Go to the bottom of the edit window and "attach" your file.
3. There will now be an "insert" link to the right of the file name.
4. Click the insert button, and "Voila"! Embedded picture!

The cool thing is if you do that, when someone clicks on your photo, it will pop up full size on their screen! (A Modal in geek speak!)

This software really has some neat features which I am only now beginning to discover! It really is simpler than Photobucket, and faster.

If you are using Tapatalk, you can post directly from your phone too, without using photobucket!

Wow! I like this... I hate the whole photobucket upload/link process.

Another advantage might be that the pics are on this server (?) so no more "image not available" if someone closes their photobucket account or something gets renamed?

That's annoying when it happens on other forums.

At some point I may need to upgrade my host plan again and get more space, but for now this works well. The photos should stay with the site no matter where it moves and no matter what happens to someone elses hosting account..

It is pretty easy once you figure it out. If you use Tapatalk from your phone, it is really easy to post those pictures from the field!
