Well I decided to take it  completely apart down to the frame and off to  powder coat Friday and clean and refinish the parts as necessary couldn’t resist such a complete bike gas tank has no rust still has Yamaha brake shoes

I had a hard time resisting doing the same thing to my DT2 but knew I was about to do the same to my DT400, which is in 1000 pieces right now. Most of the painting is done, just need to find someone to lace the wheels after I get them re-chromed next month (if all goes as planned). I'm sure you're going to be very happy and proud of your bike when it's done. Hopefully posting pictures will be back up so we can all enjoy your hard work!

Thanks my friend actually the bike is for my wife so I need to make it nice and safe for her I also have a AT1c in the same condition as this bike bought both from the same owner for $1,200 for both delivered 5 hrs away. The only thing I want do is lace both rims tried it once and HATED it about as bad as plumbing work Have a good one Wes

Good afternoon Wes, yeah you better make it nice if the wife is going to be riding it! I don't trust myself with lacing the wheels and can imagine it would be frustrating and tedious. Keep us posted on the build...

Have you tried sending him a message with the old name? He may have only changed names and left all other aspects of his ebay profile the same. Make you wonder why he would change names though...

Yes name change on his store front but if you purchase it comes up old name I’m just glad he’s still selling his hardware

Don't think I've bought from him, will have to look him up.

EDIT:  looks like he has lot's of parts for our old Yamaha Enduro's, from what I've seen his prices are pretty good too!
