Hi Guys, i just wanted to check that this is the correct rear light unit for this bike . the bike is a yamaha AT3 1973 ???

Have you checked your VIN to verify the year and model?

Looks like you have an earlier "tombstone" light and mount which means the fender is early too.  But it will work just fine.

Hi Mark, i have a ct3 and thought that they had the same rear light unit . i was just checking this was the correct one for this bike. i have just bought this at 3 to renovate . i have not had one before so i am doing some research . thanks for your help. Jez...

AT and CT of similar/same year have same taillight, except bulb voltage. 

Your picture is not AT3.  

Headlight assembly is different on AT and CT
