Parts from an early YHA206 might fit - later ones had thicker high/low switches and therefore wider holes in the upper body. I'm not saying that these later ones aren't interchangeable, but I wouldn't want to lead you astray.

Many, many Yamahas of the period used YHA205 and YHA206 in a number of switch/wire permutations. I would therefore set an hour or so aside to trawl through fleabay, searching under "Yamaha left switch", "handle switch", "indicator switch", etc etc and see if you can find what looks like a suitable, cheap broken one that you can cannibalise for parts.

You don't want to use that switch with the "on-off"

Let me see if I can find something.  I sold some switch parts to Shyted a few years ago and think I have more.  Had a NOS one I sold recently too.  Probably should have kept that one but it was going on a really nice bike that needed it more than I did.

Unbelievable. Sam with MrCycles did a parts check and found 1 in Illinois. NOS and $200 less than Ebay. Once it arrives I will have this one for members for shipping costs. Clean living-hahaha. Thanks for all of your help guys.
